Loots, etc

Post by Han »

One thing Fargol and I talked about last night was the need for people to bid on side-grade loots.  In the Najentus fight, everyone needs to have 8500 HP unbuffed, minimum.  For healers, this is rather challenging with our normal set of gear.  You *could* slap on pvp gear, but then you will gimp your mana regen.  What I did was swap in a couple pieces of gear I had accumulated along the way but re-gemmed and re-enchanted for stamina.  I was able to do this probably because I get all  the mail healing pieces, but I would encourage people to bid (don't take it from someone who needs it, but just bid the min on it) on a loot that drops even if its 5 less healing or whatever... You never know when it might come in handy to gem up a piece of PvE loot that is almost as good as your normal stuff for stam, or put a shadow resist armor kit on it or whatever.  In summary, bid 10 dkp on stuff that you might gem for a certain fight, its a lot better than dying.  10 dkp is nothing in the grand scheme of things.  Just something to think about...

DKP question. Checking out the new EQdkp thing and I don't see Saraphin on that list. Are we just adding people to the list as they raid? And not copying everything straight over? Also, I noticed BT dkp was 8 for both nights when really it should have only been 7.2 and 6.something.. Did you add in a First Boss kill points? Or did we just decide that 8 would be the minimum or what?

nm about the not seeing characters on the list... Found a nice little show all button in the bottom right corner.
