New Ranking System
We have implemented a new ranking system to make it easier to mass invite and organize raids. Here is a list of all the ranks. Inactive- Alts that never really get played, people that may have quit the game, prety self explanitory. If one of your toons is ranked inactive, don't worry, you won't get gkicked over it, its just a means of fail safe more than anything. That way if an inactive account gets sold or hacked, they have no access to our gbank. Recruit- People that joined the guild to raid with friends, RL or ingame. May or may not be level 80, was not invited based on raid experience or application status. Member- Same as recruit, but has been around a while, with a little more gbank access. Also active raider alts that are not 80 fall into this rank. Raider Alt- The alternate character of a person who has a toon with the rank Raider or higher. This makes it easier for loot distribution, as Main spec main toon gets dibs over Main spec alt toon. Those of you that have a toon with this rank, if you would like to change what toon is your "Main" Raider, please talk to me ingame. Trial Raider- Someone who has been accepted into the guild based on their application to raid with us. This is more of a transitional rank. Some people have this rank now, and that will probabaly change. Those of you with this rank please talk to me ingame, as I was probably unsure if you are interested in raiding, or were just filling in for fun when we needed more people. Raider- Someone who has passed trial status, or has been grandfathered in from our old system, and been part of many raids. Has access to bank tabs for more raiding specific items. Veteran Raider- This is someone who has been here for a long time. These people have been through the wipes, and the first kills, and all the drama in between. They know their class inside out, and we rely on them to help out people that are new to the class/guild/game with their role in the raid. Often these people have been with us from at least Burning Crusade, if not Vanilla WoW. They also have, in most cases, put out extra effort to help the guild progress, in and out of the raid enviroment. Officer- May or may not raid, but has been with the guild a long time, and been involved with guild direction and descisions. All people that formerly had the Founder rank, now are currently ranked officer. They may have been original founding members of the guild, or may have proven themselves to be exceptionally helpfull and trustworthy. They help settle drama, and work together as a whole to keep the guild moving forward, while maintaining a fun, friendly environment. Organizer- These people are the ones that put together raids of all shapes and forms. The have all the tools at their disposal to allow them to create and manage guild events. They also assume all the duties of the rank of Officer. Guildmaster- Oversees the general direction of the guild as a whole. In charge of the guild bank (as of now). Settles qq and drama. Enacts new guild policy, and enforces the current policies of the guild. Side notes: These ranks are not based on hierarchy as much as the old system. If you want you can break down the ranks into three sections; 1. Friends, alts, non-raiders 2. Raiders 3. Officers there is some assemblance of hierarchy within these sections however. Just because you are a Recruit, doesn't mean you will get treated any different than a Veteran Raider for the most part. We are all a family here, and we expect that everyone treats each other with respect. If you believe that one of your toons is improperly ranked, please talk to be about it ingame. It is possible mistakes were made, as I adjusted all 352 characters in the guild individually.
