Group 2 10/18

Greetings! I think we have been doing rather well this last week, considering all the group changing that has gone on.Big thanks go out to Zuklen, who filled in an empty healing spot for us, Mahonri, who was playing Jazzmynn, and Nagashi was on OT on his Warrior.Quick notes about last Sunday...We started off with opera, and got Romulo and Juilanne (or whatever their name is). Took us a couple time to get them down, but we did it. Things I will do different...1. This was my first time explaining this fight, and from a mage perspective it is pretty easy. However I think I could have done a better job in explaining the details of the fight, so that everyone was comfortable with their role. 2. Juilanne went down quick during the first phase, which was great. When Romulo spawned I should have called out to move him with his back to the wall earlier, I also should have done a better job explaining what his "daring" buff is. When phase 3 came, and they were both up, I had focus fire on Juilanne, it should have been Romulo. 3. When something goes wrong, I will try and change the plan quicker to accommodate. CuratorThe biggest problem was that the flares were not going down quick enough. Either we spent way too much time on the last flare, and barely got any DPS on Curator, or we had 2 flares out at once. This was in part due to our group makeup, and next week it will be different again. So I think from a DPS caster perspective, we need to be more comfortable in knowing when to cast what spells on the flares. Such as when instants would be a good idea, and when they are just wasting mana. In the later attempts we were getting better, but there is always room for improvement. It was a close fight when we did get him down, I think we had at least 3 or 4 people down.I think Aggrocity did a very good job as bolt soaker, I think there were only a handfull of flares that made it through total in all the attemps combined.ChessUmm. We did it. Nothing to really improve on here. Not to undermine anybody for anything I just wanted to mention Deviouso (feral druid) is a tanking mofo and has nice gear.

You also have a new hunter named Ajinn that is kara experienced and ready to go. He is looking for a group that raids later in the evening so should be a good fit.

Just wanted you guys to know that i probably won't make it this week as we're currently doing medical readiness for the brigade prior to deployment so i'm not getting home until 10 pm server and my family is going back to the mainland until my medical board stuff is concluded on thursday so i'm not going to be on a whole lot like my usual routine. Hopefully there's someone that can feel my position, which shouldn't be too hard considering the other healers out there that are far better than i. C everyone next week and good luck...... Paul

So here is the deal. I am assuming Fionaa will be able to come, however, a while back Fionna said that the next few weeks would be iffy as far as raiding. So best case scenario is we have a priest and a pally. Worst case is we have a pally and no priests. If we only have 2 healers on for the raid tonight, we can still try and do some stuff. However, I think we would only really be able to do Attunmen with 2 healers. So we will have to play it by ear as far as tonight. If worse comes to worse, we can do some five man stuff. Sunday looks like the same deal

The extra dps slot will be filled by whoever is ready and willing when invites go out (I will still keep in mind group makeup of course). I am trying to avoid starting the raid with only 2 healers, and then wiping for a couple hours on Moroes. ( Nothing against our healers, it would just be really hard with only 2)So, it is really up to the rest of the group. I will be on no later than 7:30, and hopefully we can talk it over with everyone there.

We will invite the people who are prepared, motivated, and who will help the raid the most.One quick note, I will be out of town on Sunday all day, and should be back at my place no later than 8pm server at the absolute worst. If I am not on at 7:30, If one of the raid assistants could start invites, that would be great. And if they can not make it on right away, whoever is on, start sending invites to the people on the roster. That would help me out a lot.ThanksBenvolo

So I had some internet problems, which resulted in having to pull myself from the raid Sunday night. I would like to thank Mason for brining Drumble to fill in for me. From what I hear Moroes, Maiden, and Big Bad Wolf went down after I lagged out. Great job guys!I heard some decent loot dropped, so that is good.Also Akuma got the epic mount from Attumen! Is this the first drop of this in the guild? If one of the raid assistants or Mason could post their comments for the raid, I would appreciate it. (anyone else is welcome to as well!)I have the connection issue sorted out though, so it won't happen again.I still feel bad for leaving you all out to dry like that, but I am glad you all got through everything that was scheduled!Andy

I have the combat log up to the first Big Bad Wolf attempt. When the server booted me, combat logging stopped and I didn't think to turn it back on. Probably not worth posting then.
Everyone did great and I was very impressed with Akuma's tanking. Gave me a run for the money many times. Druids ftw.
