I wanted to get discussion started on our recruiting needs. Hopefully this can lead to a sticky thread that we can update as needed.

Are we trying to fill for 25mans or for a 2nd 10man?
We need healers most.
We need tanks.

Discuss.

IIRC our goal is another 10 man group. So whatever we need for that, I guess we'll know more after this week.

i moved this over here because my ocd got the best of me. i was looking for anyone interested, but haven't gotten much response. we need tanks and healers more than anything else, but i don't think it's very likely we'll find many. i'm mainly looking to get a second 10 person going. based on the poll i posted before, there wasn't that much interest in 25s, and i'm not sure anyone wants to deal with them anyway.

You know this guild has always functioned well in a 10 man setting. People are for the most part mature about loot and don't need a complex DKP system to track it. Now that you can get the best loot in 10 man, I'd say there is really no reason for the headache of 25s. My 2 cents.

I would agree with that, Andrew. Even If current numbers suggest 25s may be viable, we must remember that historically those numbers go down after a bit. With the raid lockout system being what it is, and people having alts, it seems like multiple 10s is the way to go.

Rathr and I wouldn't raid a 25man, so there goes 2 more of your numbers. I don't think anyone was talking about 25mans though. I wanted to spur discussion more towards recruiting some healers and possibly tanks to get our second 10man going. There are a lot more people currently interested in raiding than the Sun/Mon group can accommodate. I've always been a fan of the Holy Paly / Resto Druid / Disc Priest combo and was hoping to focus discussions on what particular class/spec we need.

When doing our trade spam we should also include our guild level. We don't want people to join just because our guild level will help them level, but if we invite raiding characters and an alt or two of theirs that wouldn't be a bad idea. And the thing about it is that we constantly want characters leveling in our guild because it will help our guild level. So its a back scratching situation.

i try to keep it relatively short, but with enough info to get people to the site. suggestions are of course welcome

Perhaps a mention that FA is focused on 10's?
