Trial of the Crusader 25, Preparation for Icecrown

As most people have noticed, Blizzard has changed a lot of loot rewards to ease the barrier going into Icecrown. I will venture to say at this point that as a guild, we should be able to gear up for Icecrown 25 independent of our progress in Ulduar 25.
1) It is very nice to see that we were able to field two 10 man groups to clear ToC this week (for the two bosses that are released). Good job!
2) With the change to the badge system, I strongly encourage those who have just hit 80 or are undergeared to please farm emblems of conquest. Without setting foot in Ulduar 10/25, you should be able to get your 2 piece tier 8.5 bonus (via tokens) and have iLvl 226 items in almost every slot.
3) I will be on travel again this week, but I would like the guild to please try ToC 25 so we can get a sanity check on how much more emblem of conquest gearing we need to do. The Northrend Beasts boss have a 15 minute enrage timer -- I'd like to see how tightly Blizzard has tuned this. I doubt they tuned it for an Ulduar 25 geared raid; I'm betting it's more along the lines of a Naxxramas 25 geared raid which is why if everyone has iLvl 226 items from conquest emblems, we should be overgeared!
3a) We're working on getting the DKP database and DKP item lists updated for the transition to ToC. If you guys get a few ToC 25 kills in early, we can back that into the database later (so be sure to make the attempts).
4) I would like to get a second Ulduar 10 group going again, but it looks like the player pool is below critical mass in terms of having enough players that can consistently make those raids. Having two ToC groups is easier because the content is short and can be cleared in one night. Ulduar 10 takes multiple nights of clearing and what seems to happen is that not everyone from the first night is available on the second night. Those who substitute on the second night are now locked which means that > 10 people are locked to the single Ulduar 10 which means even fewer people are available for a second Ulduar 10 group.
A fair number of players are on hiatus at the moment due to new jobs and other RL commitments, but we'll keep trying to get 25s going. Ideas for setting up more guild events are encouraged (e.g., regular 5 man chain heroics group, PvP nights, classic raid nights). Use the forums and the guild calendar (I'm not sure how the permissions are set on the guild calendar, but I'm pretty sure it can be relaxed as long as people don't fill it with junk).
