Er, I don't think it can be both ways. We'll either have the proper make-up or not, and then raid or not depending on that...I've heard a lot of people complain about not raiding, and then when we do that it's a crappy makeup. Gotta make up your mind.

Now that we're back on the calendar invite system:

Counting the number of accepted invites isn't very productive -- a lot of people don't hit the button so the number always seems low. The better thing to do is look at who has actually declined the invite. This way, you can see if a significant block of raiders can't make it.

To those who are shying away from Ulduar 25 raiding, it is much easier for the raid to help you in the 25 man than the 10 man. In a 10 man raid, every person that dies = 33% healing lost or 20% DPS lost. In a 25 man, there is more flexibility.

If the raid is hurting for attendance, I don't mind bringing undergeared people provided that they have the mindset and put in the effort to improve. That means being aware, figuring out boss mechanics, and figuring out where they need to improve. If the *only* thing that a person lacks is gear, it will show in their raid performance (this means staying out of the fire, DPSing the right targets at the proper times, and maximizing what you've got -- a DPS that puts out 3k in crappy gear stands out as amazing; healers can generally get by with lesser gear provided they are prepared with mana potions and flasks/elixirs).

I have been trying to leave 'easier' bosses up such as Razorscale, Iron Council, and Ignis so that the raid can come back on Thursday (and in the future, Wednesday) night and do something if the raid makeup isn't up to snuff for progression.

Hopefully, the recent attendance issues are just coincidence, but we'll try to work through it. I know some guildies are getting close to 80, so reinforcements are on the way.

One thing I'd personally like to stress is the importance of being logged in and ready to go at raid time. Far too many people I know mosey in 10-20 minutes late and are surprised if we're actually running something.

Please don't count on us not running. If you're able to raid, log in so we at least have a headcount of people online.
