Raid Performance

So, now that it looks like we will consistently have enough people to do 25 man raids on Tuesday and Thursday (and we will continue to receive and accept apps as we see fit) you will probably notice that there are more people wanting to get into the raids, then there are spots.
We will try to get everyone in that wants to. That means that some people will have to sit out maybe a whole week. However that also means that if you are sucking it up, standing in fires, not following directions, and generally not helping progression, you will be sat out. If you want to hang out in raids and socialize, we have other 10 man raids, and 25 man raids on content that is less challenging. You can go to those. If you are sucking it up, you are going to find yourself in less and less raids on Tuesday and Thursday.
Things you can do to make sure that we always want to bring you...
-If we ask you to sit out, there is a reason for it. We will try and get everyone in when we can
-Enchant your gear. There is no reason not to. If you don't know how to enchant/gem your gear, ask around in gchat, we will help.
-Do what you are told. DPS on the boss means DPS the boss. It does not mean dig around your bags, aoe adds, or stop casting.
-Follow directions. The encounters we are working on in 25 man are not hard. If you don't know how all the bosses in Uld work up until Thorim/freya/hodir/mimiron, go read and watch videos. We are not going to waste time because you are lazy.
You will be replaced from raids for the following:
-terrible dps due to no enchants/flask/standing in the fire
-inability to follow directions
You will not be replaced if:
-your dps sucks from bad gear(assuming it is enchanted and gemmed properly)
-you have rl things come up(you might be replaced if you aren't coming back soon, but no hard feelings)
-you follow directions, and try your best
From now on, during encounters listen to what the raid leader(s) say. They are not giving suggestions. For the 10 minutes or whatever length the encounter is, the directions of the raid leader are the same as the law. Follow them, or suffer the consequences. If you think that it is the wrong thing to do, too bad. We will all be wrong together. We can fix it on the next attempt. If everyone second guesses what the leads are saying, we will never ever complete encounters cleanly and reliably. Discuss strats and new ideas all you want on the forums or in chat after raids. During the raid, small adjustments will be made, at the discretion of the RL.
If everyone works together, we will succeed.
In short, don't be fail. We won't dock you DKP if you suck it up in raids, we all need to learn. We will replace you if you can not do the things listed above.

EDIT: I am assuming that everyone in the guild that wants to raid is going to read this. If you aren't registered on the forums, or don't at least check the forums once in a while, I don't care. Not reading things on the forums is a shitty excuse for not knowing. Similar to showing up to raids and not at least having a general idea of the encounter is a shitty thing to do.
