Forged Alliance

After the huge success of our Wednesday Night Black Temple raid (full clear - including Illidan - in less than 3 hours), I've put up a Calendar event for this coming Wednesday February 25th. Unlike Black Temple, The majority of us probably do not have any experience with Sunwell Plateau. It may not be possible for us to zerg it as much, so if you plan on coming (check the Ingame Calendar), plz at least skim over the strategies.

I'm not sure how long interest will hold in older raids, but assuming we have a good turn out again (lots accepted on the Calendar - so I think we will), I'd like to try to do SSC and TK the following week. Maybe not all bosses, but there's been some expressed interest in Vashj and Kael'thas for the achievements. Perhaps Mount Hyjal or Black Temple again after that. I know there's quite a few of us who are like 1 run shy of having enough Reputation for exalted.

Good turn out last week. A few things that I just want to reiterate after last week. It is ok to mess up, but please don't do things taht could hurt the raid on purpose. It might be a lvl 70 raid, but its still nice to have everyone working together. I think that we waited way to long to boot individuals last week. If you are coming to mess around and try to wipe the raid, please expect to get booted immediately~

Does putting Misdirect on Grimmace every pull count? Thandrenn and Handsomo are just too good though couldn't get the mob onto poor lil' Grimm bwhahaha!

I dont think that is wiping the raid Nags. You are free to do that all you want~

So for those that didn't make it tonight... Sunwell is still tough. We got Kaelcgos down on the 4th? try, though like 3 of those don't count because people got locked out or he was accidentally aggroed too soon. Bruttallus was an easy one-shot. But Felmyst proved to be too difficult. It was pretty cool seeing a place I'd never been and downing new bosses (for us). We'll have to visit the place and properly own it again sometime.

Next week on the schedule is Lady Vashj and Kael'thas kills in SSC and TK. Vashj might take a try or two for people to re-learn core-tossing, but I expect to down both in short order and have enough time for something else, like AQ20.
