I'm really excited about getting my spriest to 80 and playing with all the new abilities/talents. Has anyone thought about which toon they are going to work on first?

I'm seriously considering switching from advancing my hunter first to my shaman. I'm really enjoying playing a class that can serve more than one function, versus straight dps.

My shaman... If I'm still playing that is. I like the versatility of the Shaman also.

Ofie is going to be first, followed by either my mage or a Death Knight, I haven't decided yet. And if Daghi would stop qqing we'll have a lot of other 70s by that time, so the options will remain open.

Priest and warrior at the same time hopefully (dual box FTW). Inori is going to stay healing spec'd the whole way (just like from 1-60 and 60-70), so let me know when you guys want to run the instances along the way. -HP

I will probably level up Kaittlynn first just because it is easy. I will be happy to group up with quests on Jazz, as I do not plan on soloing her up to 80.

So ya, she beat me to 60, then beat me to 70... It's not gonna happen again lol.

I will prolly level Hanh as elemental/resto hybrid. I almost feel a little bad since I went 1-70 as resto, but I had Crustlorn the crusty pally with me also... and something tells me that won't be fargol's first choice to level to 80

Tsuni is being leveled first...going to stay holy so that I can heal instance runs and eventually raids again.

Presently I'm leaning towards my Warlock first. But nostalgia, sentimentality and other factors may lean towards Thandrenn being my first 80.

I'm going to try and NOT level anything but mage and warrior. I did mage first for BC ... I'll probably be doing both at the same time though, leaning towards the one that has the most rest exp.

Another question related to all this: Are we going to race right into raid content? In WotLK raid instances will be 10 and 25 man content so is it pretty much first come first serve on the 10man stuff? And then when we get enough for 25man's we will? Should we all be focusing on our raid characters first or are we going to take like a 3 month raiding break? Will we continue to have raid nights as we're leveling or are we just dropping the "old content" then.

I have no doubt our raids will drop off sharply once the expansion hits. I'd still like to raid though, maybe once a week. Even if it's something "old" like Karazhan or ZA. A lot of us will be getting new abilities and what not, and it would probably be useful as we level to raid once a week just to try crap out and get a feel for our upgraded toons.
Hum. Karazhan would also likely yield experience.... hmmm.

As mentioned elsewhere, we'll probably do a raid night a week, and just do something fun that everyone can participate in regardless if they are level 80 or not. Llike pvp, or some real old world instances like AQ40/MC.

At that point - BT will be an old world instance.

When BC came out, we kept up the "Wednesdays" that was our sonly raid day at the time for a small while. That eventually tapered off as people had better things to do. I vote rush to 80, personally. I'd be interested in BT / Sunwell / bosses we haven't killed yet -- but other than that, I would rather raid new content. Now's the time we should do AQ40/etc.. if people are interested.
