What is your raid experience?

Have only done the first 2 bosses in BWD but i do know all the BWD fights. As for pre-cata i raided consistently after ToC until the end of Wrath got to 85 and stopped playing for a few months and I'm now ready to start raiding again albeit casually.

Why did you leave your previous (current) guild?

Remedy is a good guild with good people but they have recently combined one of the 10mans i was hoping to get into with another eliminating their need for a tank.

Does anyone in our guild know you?

Not that I'm aware but i did pug a lot during Wrath I may have run across someone.

How did you find out about our guild?

I was browsing the forums and recognized your guild.

How many alts do you have and is this your main?

I have 9 alts on this server both horde and ally and yes Aukner is my main.

What are your play times?

I play when I'm not on SC2 or working and my schedule can be made to accommodate raiding times.

Which of our raid times would you be able to make?

Which ever you decided you needed me for.

Yes, i have all proper enchants and gems.

What is the basic gemming strategy for your character?

I gem mastery + stam combos that give mastery or stam socket bonuses.

What is the basic reforging strategy for your character?

Mastery is top. But you want to keep your dodge and parry about even so you'd reforge accordingly. Excess hit or expertise as well would be reforged into mastery if you were already capped.

What is your favorite boss fight and why? What boss haven't you fought that you're looking forward to the most?

I really enjoyed the Professor Putricide before nerfs his fight was pretty difficult and had some cool mechanics with the abomination. I'm looking forward to the Nefarian/Ony fight looks pretty intense.

What boss mod(s) do you use?

I use DBM and Recount.

What website(s) do you use to read up on encounters proactively?

Elitist Jerks for spec, gear, gems, enchants and that sort of thing. Tankspot and OMFGcata for encounters.

I'm a pretty laid back kind of guy who knows his class and role in a raid. I feel you would not regret putting your lives in the hands of this complete stranger and allowing me to tank your dragons. I also noticed your laxish 21+ age limit and would like to assure you that I will not fill your gchat with poop jokes, unless they're really good.

looks good. the only thing i noticed was that you still have glyph of divine plea, which is no longer particularly useful for prot.

True but my other options are about the same in usefulness: reduced crusader strike mana, reduced hammer of wrath mana, reduced rebuke mana.

it was brought to my attention by a couple people that were apparently too lazy to reply to this that i missed a few things with your gear.

first, you are under-valuing mastery and over-valuing stamina. at the least, you should gem for the socket bonus on your chest and wrists. also, stamina isn't as useful past a certain point as mastery is, and the more block you have, the more mana you save your healers, so mastery / stam gems are probably better than straight stamina.

second, you shouldn't be reforging to hit, as it's not as important in cata as it was in wrath. you listed the correct strategy in your app, but didn't really follow it. for example:
helm should be parry -> mastery
shoulder should be crit -> dodge
gloves should be parry -> mastery
belt should be crit -> dodge
legs should be parry -> mastery
rings should be expertise -> mastery
some of your other stuff could probably be reforged differently as well.

finally, a couple of your enchants are off. gloves should be mastery (cheap version is fine) and boots should be mastery, since you already get the movement bonus from pursuit of justice.
