hooray patch day. i haven't been able to log on for a couple hours now, after i tried rebooting because my fps was so low the game wasn't playable. just a head's up in case i'm not on for the raid.

Combat log addons are causing a lot of problems it looks like. Here's a link, and I know most of us use them so spread the word.

thanks! you were correct, sir. addons were definitely causing my lag issues, and my log on issue was caused by turning "optimize network for speed" off because i thought it would help with the lag.

made a separate thread for this so it's not buried in the raid thread in case any one else is having issues.
the addons that were destroying my framerate were skada and vanaskos. there is an update for skada that appears to work ok, but that is not the case for kos.
