Lost E-mails

After the new "skin" change, I rarely get e-mails when people add new threads or posts.  Whazzup?  i have the little box checked.

I am getting some of the emails but not all of them so I'll keep poking around. Since some of them are getting out I think it will be environmental (Not the tree hugger kind) rather than programmatical.
